most of the people are moslim.
Only in 1965 became the Maldives a republic after the
influence in 1558 of the portugees, the dutch in 1654
and the british protectorate in 1887.
The temperatures are allways good, in the winter min
27°c and in the summer max 31°c,
the watertemperatures between 26°c en 29°c.
